Dear CCE members,

Thanks to all of you who responded to the PCPCC Strategic Planning survey and offered your thoughts and suggestions on how best to engage consumers in the movement toward transforming primary care to patient-centered medical homes! We are continuing the work of developing recommendations and strategies for not only how to engage consumers, but how to effectively operationalize those strategies that will best utilize the resources of the PCPCC and all of your time and efforts. We will be putting our regular monthly calls on hold until the Board of Directors approves a new Strategic Plan , and then fully discuss the best mechanisms by which we can execute that plan in partnership with all of you! We are tentatively planning to schedule our next call in November. We will send you a notice and agenda as soon as this is confirmed. In the mean time, please continue to participate and offer your insights into how to engage consumers in the patient-centered medical home on all of the other PCPCC calls including the public calls held every Thursday at 11 a.m. ET.

We hope to see all of you at the upcoming PCPCC Summit on Friday, October 21st in Washington, DC. Please join us at the Consumer Engagement table during the Networking lunch. See you soon!
