Dawn Bazarko, RN, MPH is the Senior Vice President of Clinical Innovation, for UnitedHealthcare’s Clinical Advancement division. She leads UnitedHealthcare’s Primary Care, ER, and Integrated Behavioral Health programs serving over 10 million members nationwide. Her responsibilities include development and oversight of programs stimulating the diffusion and adoption of health information technology aimed at improving the quality, usability and affordability of health care. As a published author in peer-reviewed journals, her areas of research focus include the study of health information technology and clinical quality improvement. Dawn also leads the development of UnitedHealthcare’s patient centered medical home demonstration pilot. With over 25 years of health care experience, including direct patient care, Dawn holds a Bachelors degree in Nursing and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Minnesota, specializing in Environmental and Occupational Health.
