Robert B. Doherty is Senior Vice President of Governmental Affairs and Public Policy for the American College of Physicians (ACP), the nation’s largest specialty society and second largest medical organization. ACP represents 124,000 internal medicine physicians and medical students. Mr. Doherty has over 27 years of health policy experience and is an accomplished presenter at health conferences. In addition to his responsibilities at ACP, he chairs the Policy Steering Committee of the e-Health Initiative (eHI) and serves on the Board of Trustees of URAC, a leading health care accreditation organization.
